Just got off Pontiac Lake, caught around 18 to 20 in about 2 hours. Nothing over 2 1/2 lbs and proberly only 7 keepers out of the lot.  The Pike are hitting pretty good as well.  I hope to get out again tommorrow baring the weather.  My main lure of choice was a rattle trap, threw a white spinner bait for a while but had the best results on a Tenn. Shad Rattle Trap.  The weeds are already starting to come up so you will have use a floater or keep your rod tip very high.

while fishing for pike or walleye, i may or may not have caught over 150 out of season fish on st clair on wed and thur last week...  more than 20 were over 4 lbs, at least 5 over 5 lbs, 1 about 6 lbs.  AND it was out of my boat which is actually working now, believe it or not.  nitroderrek

This is only meant as a reminder to all of us regarding the Catch & Release season as well as the regular season here in Michigan.   I'm passing no judgement here just making sure everyone knows the rules of the road.  This is the address for the Michigan Sportfishng Guide for 2010.      http://www.michigan.gov/documents/dnr/full-no-ads_272056_7.pdf
