question on a by-law

is by-law 5 X correct?
it says there is a 1 lb penalty if you do not attend the pretournament meeting.
i thought it was a 4 oz penalty...
does anybody remember, or have it in notes?

This was talked about with the Club during the December and January meetings of 2008.  After allot of discussion the Club decided that a 1 lb penalty was acceptable and that I would write the appropriate BY-Law change and pass it by the Club Officers to vote on.  I took on this assignment and drafted a new By-Law indicating the Club's wishes.  This was then presented to the Club Officers where they approved it and I then updated the By-Laws with that change.  This took place in January of 2008 and the new By-Laws were posted out to the Web Site by Chip.  Since the Club couldn't come-up with the wording they asked me to do this as long as I encapsulated their desires in the by-law.  Since I was both Secretary and acting Treasure it was my responsibility.

ok, fine by me... i always am there early anyways.
maybe the tournament director should remind everyone of that rule prior to the first tournament.
