What are you guys hearing? I've developed a lot of contacts over 19 years in the club and I'm hearing that even St. Clair is not it's normal self. I haven't been out yet, but the reports are ugly. Some fish are there, but people are working way harder than normal for them.

Anyone finding fish?

the detroit open only had 2 boats catch over 20 lbs, and both had a nice 5 to 5 1/2 lb fish to do it.  other than that, 2 to 3 pounders are the norm,,, hard to find any 4's.

I've been out a twice this week, and have been able to find a few fish both shallow and deep, I really had to work for those and I figure thats because of the tons of dead fish flies. hopefully things will get better by the weekend.

Sunday is the St Clair Tournament at Crocker launch. Because we can not beach or dock boats I want the tournament committee boats out first so we can set up the weigh in. Make sure you handle the fish carefully. we will have people watching us. I have 2 non boaters I need to put into boats. Mike S I don't know if you have a Canada License or not. I also have a non boater who is fishing US waters to move.As of right now I have 4 boaters without partners but don,t know where they are fishing. Dan, Brain O, Jeff R and John S. I need to know where you plan on fishing. No one else has contacted me so I guess everyone is good. The blast off is at 6:00 AM and the meeting is at 5:30 We will be fishing till 3:00 PM. See all of you in the morning and lets have a fun and safe tournament.
