It has been noticed lately that some of our Club Members have not been wearing their Life Vest while the main engine is in operation.  I r was one of those people although the motor wasn’t in gear and the boat was stationary we should all still have our vest’s on while our main engine is running.   It is even advisable to wear it while your loading your boats onto your trailers although that becomes a hassle because you have to take it off to secure your boat to the trailer.  There are ways however to still tie your boat up and keep your vest on.  There wasn’t any serious violation of this rule but I think it doesn’t hurt to be reminded during the season.  So consider yourselves reminded.

are you talking during tournament hours only?  after the tournament is over, after 2pm, and everyone is checked in, the tournament is officially over, so life jackets shouldn't be required then, correct?  if you parked your boat on shore, weighed in your fish, and got your boat on the trailer a half hour later, life jacket shouldn't be required.  just asking, derrek
