I ‘d like to make everyone in our Club aware that Mr. King has broken a very long record of having the largest bag of fish weighed in during one of our Points Tournament.  The old record was held by me at 19 pounds 4 ounces from Pontiac Lake.  Mr. King’s bag weighted in at 19 pounds and 14 ounces during our recent St. Clair Points Tournament.  We all new someone was going to break this record from St. Clair and it has finally happened.  Great Job Louie and well done.

Wow.  You must have caught hat 19lb 4oz bag a LONG time ago on Pontiac, because there aren't any fish like that anymore in that lake Cheesy

A friend of mine and once member Rick Van Tiem and I spent 5 straight days and evenings pre-fishing for that Tournament.  He had a cottage on the island in the middle of the lake and we stayed there for the entire time fishing about 12 hours a day until we found those fish in deep water.  This was back in July of 1993.  The week before we fished an open tournament on that lake and weighed in close to 50 pounds with 10 fish.  Your right that lake doesn’t produce those kinds of stringers anymore.   St. Clair on the other hand can and has been the best lake for bags of large fish and I think next year’s bag will properly be even bigger.
